Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Dhaka on a two-day maiden visit to Bangladesh, accompanied by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The two countries ratified the historic Land Boundary Agreement on Saturday.

Bangladesh Prime Minister broke protocol to receive PM Modi at the airport. There are expectations from both India and Bangladesh to take bilateral ties to a new level and unleash the potential of economic and trade ties.
