Monsoon Session Of Parliament Day 2 Highlights: United Opposition Attacks Government

Monsoon Session Of Parliament: Today, opposition is expected to question government on a range of issues

After a solemn first day of the Monsoon Session this year, that saw early adjournment as respect to the dead members of Parliament, the second day is expected to see discussion on a range of issues. The opposition parties have said they'll raise issues like cow vigilantism, unrest in Jammu and Kashmir, and the India-China standoff in Dokalam. Top Congress leaders had called a meeting yesterday to discuss a strategy. The increased opposition synergy comes at a time when 18 parties have come together under one platform to pin the government on some key issues.
