Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaches his parliamentary constituency Varanasi.

New Delhi:

BJP workers are being killed for their ideology in West Bengal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said today while addressing the party's workers. Political analysts will have to accept that beyond poll arithmetic, there is chemistry, the prime minister told the gathering in a ''thank you'' visit to his parliamentary constituency. PM Modi, who also offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath temple, visited the temple town four days after steering his party to a resounding win of 303 Lok Sabha seats. "For the country I am PM, but for you I am your MP and ''sevak''," PM Modi said, thanking the voters of Varanasi for voting him into the Lok Sabha for a second term. He also spoke on the importance of ''perfect synergy'' between the government and the party and said "work and workers" together can create wonders. The prime minister said he was grateful to the opponents who had fought against him.

Meanwhile, Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) president Prem Singh Tamang, popularly known as P S Golay, today took oath as the chief minister of Sikkim. He was administered the oath by Governor Ganga Prasad at Paljor Stadium. Mr Golay is not a member of the state assembly at present as he did not contest the polls. We are the people who care the most about democracy. We are now in power in Tripura... opposition exists there after so many years... they are being heard now. We are the people who respect the voice of opposition in democracy. We are the people who assured 10 percent reservation to general category. This is not votebank politics.  We feel that the great men in India have done a lot and we should take proud in the heritage. We have to keep a balance between modernity and culture..in our country, we value Rs 1 during puja but equally imp is Bhim App for digital transactions. We have to keep a balance between modernity and culture..in our country, we value Rs 1 during puja but equally important is Bhim App for digital transactions. There is no region in the country... where our vote percentage is not increasing.. but these pundits still talk about "hindi heartland"... we have been elected in Ladakh.. we have been in Goa for years... also in Karnataka. The next years, we have to respect our duty. Whatever belongs to the government, belongs to the people.

The chemistry of ideologies in the nation...sometimes fails all other calculations...This time a huge mandate did that... The math was failed by the chemistry... Political pundits may have this theory : "Politics is about perception"... But then... two things bust a negative perception... "Transparency and hard work" (pardarshita and parishram) We need a perfect synergy between Sarkar and sanghathan (alliance)... policies are strategies are a reflection of government and sanghathan. The job of a government is to deliver. The miracle that we see today is because of work and wonder... Work and worker do the wonder... Worker is the catalytic agent... The government delivered... but it was the worker who emphasised that this is just the beginning... This synergy between work and worker is pretty evident. Hundreds of our workers have been martyred. Our workers have risked their lives when election was going on in Tripura....Kerala... Jammu and Kashmir. Rajnitic chuachut (untouchability in politics) is on a rise in India... When it comes to BJP, people talk of untouchability. We are the people who ensure unity... If Jharkhand is being formed or another state...we ensure Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas... but despite all this... an environment of untouchability has been created, This dates back to when i was Gujarat Chief Minister.

I, as a party worker, follow what the party and workers want and do everything in my capacity. You people turned election to a festival... there was less of an environment where arguments were being encouraged,... rather there was more warmth...  I want to publicly thank other candidates too... Election Commission puts in a lot of effort to organise elections...I also thank the people in media. Yes, only Narendra Modi was elected here... but in the campaign process... all of u became Narendra Modi. No voter felt detached... BJP workers carried out the door to door campaign in this summer heat to involve every voter.. I may be speaking from Kashi today... but my heartfelt greetings go out to the entire Uttar Pradesh.
