Bilawal tweets for peace and better relations with India
New Delhi: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the 23-year-old Chairman of Pakistan People's Party (PPP), recorded his first ever visit to India in a series of tweets from wherever he was went. He was accompanying his father and Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari on private visit to India.

This was Zardari junior's first ever visit and he couldn't hide his excitement. "AOA India Peace be with you. I have just landed in Delhi. 1st ever visit," he tweeted soon after landing in Delhi.

Bilawal was part of 40 people who flew into Delhi with Mr Zardari on his grey Pakistan Airforce plane around noon. Thirteen other family members also accompanied him.

Within minutes of landing, he along with his father left for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's residence for lunch. Bilawal reportedly invited Rahul Gandhi to visit Pakistan. The two were seated next to each other at the luncheon. Mr Gandhi is said to have accepted the invite.

Mr Zardari's entourage left Delhi after lunch and took a chopper to reach Ajmer soon after 4 pm. From the Ajmer helipad, he was driven 12.3 km to the Dargah, which he visited after seven years. Mr Zardari spent around 20 minutes at the Dargah, where he and son Bilawal offered flowers and chadar. Mr Zardari left for Pakistan in the evening.

Bilawal's appointment as PPP Chairman at a very young age was seen as a tactical move; to consolidate the party in the absence of Benazir using the Bhutto legacy.  Mr Zardari also added Bhutto to his son's name.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is to the manor born. The oldest child of Asif Ali Zardari and Benazir Bhutto was three months old when his mother first became Prime Minister. He has seen life in political exile; he was 19 years old when his mother was gruesomely assassinated. (Read: Who is Bilawal Bhutto Zardari?)
