Two shot dead in Gurgaon over money dispute

Gurgaon: Two people were gunned down and another person wounded over a suspected money dispute in Gurgaon on Thursday, police said.

"Amit Kumar alias Bona, 22, and Mahender Singh alias Tackla, 24, were gunned down in the early hours. Anil, 20, was injured. They were sleeping at Mahender's house in Khod village in Pataudi area," said Pataudi Station House Officer Hira Singh.

According to an uncle of Amit, he and Mahender were trying to recover Rs.20 lakh from a person who had borrowed the money from them a few months back, police said.

"Rana Pratap Yadav, a liquor contractor, Ajay, Rajesh, Dinesh, Anand and Rajkumar, all from Khod village are accused in the case," Mr Singh added.

The victims too were involved in attempt to murder and dacoity cases, he said.

No arrests have been made so far, police said.
