After Deepika Padukone, her husband Ranveer Singh too joined the popular meme party (or should we say "pawri"). The actor recently recreated a video featuring a fan, in which he can be seen saying the viral catch phrase "Pawri Ho Rahi Hai." The actor says in the video, "Ye humara gajar ka halwa hai, ye hum hain aur yahan pe pawri ho rahi hai." The video was shared by several fan pages dedicated to the actor. For the uninitiated, the "Pawri Ho Rahi Hai" meme template became viral after YouTuber Yashraj Mukhate made a mix of Pakistani influencer Dananeer's video, in which she can be heard saying "Yeh humari car hain, aur yaha pe humari pawri (as in party) ho rahi hai."

A few days ago, Deepika Padukone too joined the meme fest and she shared a post, which had pictures from her childhood days and she chronologically captioned the pictures "Yeh hum hain, yeh hamara ghoda hai aur yeh hamari pawri ho rahi hai." ICYMI, this is what she posted:

Ranveer Singh's next project is Kabir Khan's sports drama '83, which will showcase India's iconic win at the 1983 cricket World Cup. In the film, Ranveer stars as the legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, while Deepika Padukone features as Kapil Dev's onscreen wife Romi Bhatia. Ranveer Singh will also be seen in Yash Raj Films' Jayeshbhai Jordaar.

The actor was last seen in the 2019 hit Gully Boy, co-starring Alia Bhatt, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Kalki Koechlin. The film was directed by Zoya Akhtar. The actor has a cameo appearance in Rohit Shetty's cop drama Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role. The actor also signed another project with Rohit Shetty, which is titled Cirkus. The film is an adaptation of Shakespeare's The Comedy Of Errors.
