Golmaal is back again.' Yes, Ajay Devgn is back with the fourth instalment of Rohit Shetty's blockbuster comedy series that began with
Golmaal: Fun Unlimited in 2006. The multi-starrer film had Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor in all the four instalments, while Shreyas Taldpade and Kunal Kemmu joined the cast later. Double the fun x 2 as actresses Tabu and Parineeti Chopra are the new additions to the
Golmaal family. Oh, Neil Nitin Mukesh also. The
Golmaal films have been hugely successful at the box office. The ticket bookings for
Golmaal Again began weeks ago in advance due to overwhelming response to the trailer.
Of starring in the film, Parineeti Chopra, who constantly updated about
Golmaal Again on social media, told news agency IANS, "We had loads of fun shooting. It is the best set I have ever been on. Rohit and his entire
Golmaal gang is just mad. The film is big. Ajay Devgn is like a kid, especially when he does songs. He doesn't enjoy dancing so, he would complain. But he would work hard also."
Meanwhile, here's a small spoiler. Shreyas Talpade's
urf Laxman, is not stammering in
Golmaal Again, but there is another quirk to his character. "He's got a slight lisp." Of the action sequences, he told IANS, "All of us except Ajay Devgn, we haven't done much action yet. But for Rohit Shetty, without action, it doesn't work. Everyone wants to know how many cars he blew up for the film. When I saw the set, I thought we would be sitting in the cars, but he told us 'No, you guys will be just jumping outside'."
Golmaal Again is competing with Aamir Khan's big release
Secret Superstar, which hit the screens a day ago.
