New Delhi:
Katrina Kaif is in good hands at the dance studio - she's been watched over by veteran actress Sridevi, who has a great bit of reputation for being the Bollywood dancing queen of her time. There actually is a huge poster of Sridevi plastered inside one of the walls of the dance studio Katrina visits and makes Katrina rather "nervous,"
the Tiger Zinda Hai actress said in a new Instagram post. In the photo, it appears that Katrina must have taken a break but just coudn't take her eyes off Sridevi on the wall. Explaining her situation, she wrote: "If Sridevi Kapoor was watching you dance ... You'd look nervous too."
Sridevi was quick to spot Katrina's post and put her out of her misery. "You kill it every time," she wrote in the comments. So sweet.
While Sridevi will continue to be a favourite of all of us,
we can't deny that Katrina Kaif is also a brilliant dancer herself. Katrina's brilliant dance skills were explored by choreographer Farah Khan in
Tees Maar Khan's
Sheila Ki Jawani - that was in 2010. It's been over seven years and our Katrina Kaif-special dance playlist has songs like Chikni Chameli from Agneepath, Kamli from Dhoom: 3, the
Bang Bang! title song, Kala Chashma from
Baar Baar Dekho and
Pashmina from
Fitoor.
Not just the sexy and feisty genre of dance, Katrina also pulled off the quirky on the dance floor in the song
Ullu Ka Patha from
Jagga Jasoos, during the shooting of which she said she had to "slow down" and make "accidental mistakes" so that Ranbir could keep up.
Katrina Kaif just wrapped the shooting of
Tiger Zinda Hai with Salman Khan and also has an
impressive line-up of films ahead. She co-stars with Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan in
Thugs Of Hindostan and also has Anand L Rai's yet-untitled movie with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma in the pipeline.
