Actress Parineeti Chopra,
who is currently filming her next project Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar in Delhi, posted about Delhi's severe smog and she hopes things 'improve' soon. Sharing many negative effects, which the smog had on her, Parineeti wrote: "My chest is hurting, head is hurting and throat is paining." The
Golmaal Again actress also urged her fans and follows to 'WAKE UP' and wrote: "We cannot be doing this to our planet." Some Instagram users showed their concern and supported Parineeti's views while others trolled her for posting the picture and also asked her to go abck to Mumbai. "Steps like not to put the wastage in open, to control the traffic, take some decisions against cutting of trees and many more can be done," read one user's comment while others read:
aapne kyaaa kiya air pollution k liye ????? Insta pr pic upload krrne k alava ????" and "who said u to go Delhi,
jaa wapis."
Sharing her picture, Parineeti wrote: "2 days of shooting in Delhi - and my chest is hurting, head is hurting and throat is paining!! Can't believe we have let things go so out of hand that human beings don't have air to breathe to anymore. Can't imagine the situation for kids and elders. Please guys, let's all WAKE UP. We cannot be doing this to our planet. #DelhiSmog."

Arjun Kapoor, who is Parineeti's co-star in
Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, is also in Delhi. He shared the accident's video and wrote: "What's happening in Delhi is dangerous in more ways than one can imagine...I'm filming here as I type this and I'm fearing things aren't going to really get any better."
Arjun also posted a couple of tweets showing his concern towards the 'suffocating' city. "The video I posted was sent to me and as I stand at look out of the window the fear that engulfs me is that this is reality and it can happen to any of us if we aren't extremely aware and careful. The smog is dangerous long term & short term. Really hope things improve," read one of Arjun's tweets.

Pollution levels in Delhi reached over 10 times the safe limit Tuesday morning, as thick gray clouds of smoke descended over the city. The Indian Medical Association declared a public health emergency, warning people not to go out. Delhi's situation is literally close to a severe crisis. Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia has announced that Delhi's junior schools will be closed and he has also requested people to avoid morning walks.
