Lupt is Jaaved Jaaferi's new film, the trailer of it released on Wednesday. List most horror films, Lupt also claims to be "Inspired by a true story" and begins with an eerie vision which strikes Jaaved Jaaferi. Later, he visits a counsellor to be diagnosed with chronic insomnia, which he dismisses as a possible reason for his visions. The trailer of LUPT has all the elements of a typical horror film - creaky doors, moving swings, buzzing lights, scared faces, sudden movements and supernatural happenings and Twitter seems absolutely impressed with it. The trailer sums up LUPT to be the story of a family, who encounter unnatural happenings after a road-trip goes horribly wrong. 'LUPTTrailer' trended all of Wednesday morning, with tweets like: "For those who love to watch horror films, get ready to scream," flooding Twitter.
"If you love some horror movies then you will love this LUPT trailer. Check it out right now," read a tweet while another added: "After ages I have seen terrific horror trailer. LUPT trailer. Great effort by director, actor and all team." Meanwhile, fans are also delighted with Jaaved Jaaferi's return on the big screen: "LUPT trailer Jaaved sir is back to scare us with, his new LUPT. I can't able to see even the poster is very scary. Will you come with watch? bcoz I can't even dare to watch this alone." "Got goosebumps while watching LUPT trailer... It's a horror ride... Seems an interesting concept," read another tweet.
