New Delhi: A video of a Chinese man claiming the invention of an 'invisibility cloak' (much like the one we saw in the Harry Potter series) is doing the rounds on social media. The authenticity of the video and the existence of the cloak have been questioned by several websites, many of which claim it is fake. Now, Farhan Akhtar, like many, stumbled upon the said video and the 43-year-old actor shared it on his Instagram page with the caption: "Now you see him. Now you don't. The cloak of invisibility... amazing. #techmarvel #genius." Whether Farhan believes in the existence of the 'invisibility cloak' is ambiguous but a section of Instagram users thought that he does and trolled him with comments like: "Can't believe Farhan Akhtar would promote such fake news. I mean anyone would at least look it up before posting this." Some cheered Farhan's post (which has over 53 thousand likes) and invoked Harry Potter.

The content in the viral video has been debunked by several websites. The Daily Mail published a report, in which Quantum Video production company producer Zhu Zhensong was quoted as saying that there is no such thing as an 'invisibility cloak.' The Daily Mail also revealed that the video has been circulated more than 21.4 million times on Chinese social media site Weibo. It also added that China's deputy head of Criminal Investigation Department at Ministry of Public Security shared the viral 'invisibility cloak' video on his Weibo page and said that it can be useful in military.

On the work front, Farhan was last seen in Lucknow Central, which failed to fetch decent box office numbers. He is also the producer of last week's Fukrey Returns, which is doing very well at the ticket window.

Farhan Akhtar hasn't announced his next project yet but he has confirmed that Don 3 (which he will direct and produce) is on the cards.
