New Delhi: Veteran actor Dilip Kumar, who will celebrate his 94th birthday this year, is one of those celebrities, who never fail to post festival greetings - and Diwali is no exception of course. Dilip Kumar shared a beautiful Diwali wish for his fans and followers on Twitter. Dilip Kumar's wish arrived on Wednesday night along with a delightful photo with his wife Saira Banu. Dilip Kumar, who has a humongous fan following, tweeted to say: "May this beautiful festival of Diwali fill your lives with joy, happiness, prosperity and peace. God bless." In a separate tweet, the legendary actor added: "My heart is filled with joy on this Diwali."
 
 

Dilip Kumar, who has been in and out of the hospital for the past few years, keeps the netizens posted with health-related updates and otherwise. Saira Banu and the legendary couple's family friend Faisal Farooqui are often seen taking charge of Dilip Kumar's Twitter account when the actor is advised rest. In August, Dilip Kumar was in the hospital for a brief while for a kidney related ailment, and was visited by the likes of Priyanka Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan. Pictures from both meetings were shared on Dilip Kumar's Twitter, with adorable messages for each of the star visitors.
 
 

Earlier this month, Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu celebrated their 51st anniversary at their Pali Hill residence - they got possession of the long-disputed property in September this year. Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu married in 1966 and are co-stars of movies like Gopi, Bairaag and Sagina .
 

Dilip Kumar, who received the Padma Vibhushan in 2015, the Padma Bhushan in 1991 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994, is best known for his starring roles in films like Madhumati, Devdas, Mughal-e-Azam, Ganga Jamuna, Ram Aur Shyam and Naya Daur.
