In 2014, Communist Party of India won 1 seat, Communist Party of India (Marxist) won five seats, Congress won eight seats, Indian Union Muslim League won two seats, Kerala Congress won one seat,

Revolutionary Socialist Party won one seat, and two seats were won by independent candidates.

Kerala's population is about 3.5 crores. There are a total of 2.61 crore voters-- 1,26,81,992 male voters and 1,34,64,688 female voters. There are 173 third gender voters.
