Chhattisgarh Assembly Results 2018

In Chhattisgarh, BJP Chief Minister Raman Singh is fighting for a fourth term. His rule hasn't been without controversies. There have been allegations of a 36,000-crore scam in the state's public distribution system. His reign has also seen a number of attacks by Maoists on security forces and civilians.

The voter turnout in the first phase of assembly elections on November 12 was recorded at 76.28 per cent, as compared to 75.79 per cent in the 2013 polls. The high voter turnout shows there is no anti-incumbency in the state, Mr Singh had said. Nearly 72 per cent voting was recorded in the second and final phase.
