WBBSE Confirms No Question Paper Leak In Madhyamik Examination

West Bengal Board of Secondary Education

New Delhi: West Bengal Madhyamik examination has begun and reports of question paper leak has stirred confusion among all. As per the reports, Physical Science question paper has been leaked in Malda district through the social network WhatsApp. However the Chairman of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education Kalyanmoy Gangopadhyay has termed the report as baseless. As stated in PTI, the Chairman has further added that, "Such a report has no basis. There were some reports of the Physical Science paper doing rounds in the social network site WhatsApp one hour after the examination started in Malda. But, as the alleged WhatsApp came to a number outside the venue and long after the exam started, the examination went on as scheduled,"

As mentioned in PTI, 'Calling it a bid to malign the Board, he said the Board has ordered inquiries at the levels of the DI and the district to go to the bottom of the report.'

West Bengal Board of Secondary Education had started the Madhyamik examination on 22 February 2017. Physical science paper was held on 1 March from 11.45 am to 3 pm.

The examination will conclude on 3 March 2017.

The examination for physical education and social service and work education will be held from 4 March 2017 till 23 March 2017.
