New Delhi: Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST) of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will release the second allotment results on July 5. According to the earlier schedule, the second allotment results for the Degree Online Services of Telangana was supposed to be released at dost.cgg.gov.in today, but a latest update posted on DOST Telangana website said the next allotment results will be published on July 5 only.

"Phase-II allotments will be announced on 5th July 2017, said the update from the DOST Telangana website. Phase II schedule for admissions to various colleges in Telangana was started on June 26. The students who were chosen for the admission to colleges based on Telangana DOST were given chance to pay the fees till today.

Students who have registered already in Phase-I can directly access web options for participating in Phase-II, said a statement from Telangana DOST earlier.

Telangana DOST Second Phase Allotment Results To Be Out On July 5


The students will be notified new dates for taking admission to the vacant seats soon. The Hindu has reported that around 3 lakh seats remained vacant in the degree colleges in Telangana after the first phase of seat allotment ended. 

Palamuru University, Satavahana University, Telangana University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kakatiya University and Osmania University are taking part in Telangana DOST 2017 admission process. In total, more than 1000 colleges with more than 4 lakh seats are participating in this process.

In the first allotment, 1,40,033 seats were filled through the Degree Online Services Telangana (DOST), reported Manabadi.com. The report also added that maximum seats were filled in the Osmania University region where out of 1,42,860 seats available, 57,950 students got admission in 409 colleges.

With Telangan DOST facility, only one registration fee - Rs. 100 - for all the six universities to be given and web options can be given across all the universities with prioritizing the universities too.

Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (Telangana BIE) declared results of the examinations conducted in various streams (General and Vocational) on March 2017 in April.
