PSEB 10th result 2019: Punjab School Education Board (or as it is famously known as PSEB) has released the merit list and other results details of Class 10 students. The PSEB 10th results has been released online on May 8 late night. 85.8 per cent qualified for higher education in the PSEB 10th results announced today. Bunking the tradition of the Punjab Board releasing the PSEB results one day later the merit list release, an official had earlier told NDTV that the 10th results will be online by May 8 itself. "The results are expected to be put online tonight. The exact time has not been decided yet," a PSEB official said in the morning of May 8. The PSEB 10th results have been released on the official website, pseb.a.in. According to reports, the PSEB 12th results will be released on the official website by the end of this week. Last year, the Board had released the PSEB 10th results in May and 12th results in April. The PSEB 12th results have been delayed this year for the annual examinations held in March.

Mansa district registered the highest pass percentage at 73.76, followed by Muktsar at 72.39 per cent and Bathinda 70.12 per cent. The performance of border districts was poor with Tarn Taran witnessing lowest pass percentage at 33.34, followed by Ferozepur and Pathankot at 52.33 percent and 52.92 percent respectively.

Schools in urban areas with 63.85 pass percentage, fared a tad better than those in rural areas which registered 61.22 pass percentage. However, the pass percentage of Adarsh and affiliated schools was highest at 72.66.
