Odisha +2 result will be declared today for Arts, Commerce streams. The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha will announce +2 result at 3.30 pm. The Odisha +2 result will be released in a press conference first and then be released on the official website and results portal. While the CHSE Odisha had released +2 Science stream result on June 3, it did not announce the +2 Arts, Commerce result date for a long time. CHSE finally released +2 result date on June 19. After +2 result declaration is complete, the process for degree or +3 admission will begin in Odisha June 24 onwards.

100% result has been registered by 4 colleges for +2 arts result and 25 colleges for +2 commerce result.
The performance in +2 vocational exam has remained unchanged. 52.62% students have cleared the exam this year. Last year 52.61% students had cleared the exam.
The overall pass percentage in Commerce has declared in comparison to last year. 70.26% of the total students who took the exam have qualified. Close to 27 thousand students took the +2 commerce exam this year.
The overall pass percentage has decreased in +2 arts exam this year in comparison to last year's performance. 55.80% of the total boys who took the exam have passed. The pass percentage among girls is 73.99%.
CHSE Odisha declares +2 arts, commerce result. School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash announced the highlights of the result in a presser at Bhubaneswar.
The Council will issue pass certificate and mark sheet of the results, immediately after the CHSE +2 results are out. The online mark statement is for immediate information only. Students should go through the entries carefully.
The overall pass percentage in +2 vocational result was 52.61% last year. The result was declared on the same day as +2 arts and commerce result.
"Any mistake detected should however, be brought to the notice of the Controller, CHSE Odisha within 30 days from the date of publication of the result," reads the disclaimer on the result portal. The Odisha +2 result will be hosted on NIC portal.
In the +2 arts exam last year the overall pass percentage in Arts was 68.79%. 60.88% boys had cleared the exam; 75.39% girls had cleared the exam. 19,993 students had secured more than 60%.
Balasore district has recorded 86.56% pass in +2 science exam this year. However in comparison to last year the overall performance of students in the district has decreased. Least performance of 36% has been registered in Gajapati district.
The number of 90% and above scoring students has increased. 19 more students have secured above 90% in +2 science this year. Last year 41 students had secured more than 90% in the exam.
Students who qualify +2 exam will be eligible to take admissions in colleges and universities for undergraduate and integrated master's programme. State level colleges and universities will invite applications for the admission through advertisements in newspapers and websites. Students are suggested to monitor the official portals of all educational institutes for updates on admission.
CHSE Odisha will release the official documents for the +2 arts and commerce result soon. Last year the Council had released the mark sheet and pass certificate few days after the result. Students can contact their school for further information in this regard.
In Commerce, Nayagarh district recorded the highest pass percentage (95.59%). Deogarh district has the least pass percentage of 45.07. The overall pass percentage was 74.91%.
In Arts, Puri district has recorded the highest pass percentage (79.87%). Nabarangpur recorded the least pass percentage of 47.58. The overall pass was 68.79%.
The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) will announce the rechecking or verification dates today. Last year application process for revaluation continued till June 25. The supplementary exam dates will also be announced today. Students have to apply separately for the supplementary exam.
Odisha degree admission will begin on June 24 on the SAMS portal. Last year the degree admission had begun on June 12 and the first merit list came on July 3.
CHSE, Odisha announced +2 result for Science stream on June 3. In Science stream, this year, approximately 99,000 students appeared and 70,706 students passed. The overall pass percentage was 72.33 per cent. Pass per cent among boys was 70.4 per cent and among girls, it was 75.02 per cent.
Only one student in Arts stream and three students in Commerce scored above 90% last year.
Students should save a copy of the online mark statement. The print copy of the +2 arts and commerce result can be used for reference only till official document is issued by the Board. Usually the Board issues the certificates immediately after the results are out. Students can collect the same from their respective schools.
The overall pass percentage in Arts was 68.79% and it was 74.91% in Commerce. In Arts stream, Puri district had recorded the highest pass percentage (79.87%). Nabarangpur recorded the least pass percentage of 47.58. In Commerce, Nayagarh district recorded the highest pass percentage (95.59%). Deogarh district has the least pass percentage of 45.07.
Website may slow down as more than 2 lakh students will login almost at the same time. Last year the same issue was faced, and as a measure to redress this issue the NIC hosted result portal is used by the Board this year.
Admission to degree courses at 1,033 colleges across Odisha will begin on June 24. +2 pass students can apply through the common application form in the website samsodisha.gov.in. Department of Higher Education (DHE) Odisha will supervise the degree admission through Student Academic Management System (SAMS).
According reports, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash confirmed the date in a press conference on Wednesday. The results are expected to be released by 3.30 today. "It is notified for information of all concerned that the Annual Higher Secondary Examination, 2019 results in Arts, Commerce and Vocational streams will be published on dt. 21.06.2019 at 3.30 P.M. in the Geeta Govinda Auditorium of Soochana Bhawan," the official press release from CHSE said.
