Maharashtra HSC result has been declared. Check HSC Result85.88% students have cleared the exam this year. The HSC result was announced by Dr. Shakuntala Kale, Chairman Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE). Students who took the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam under the MSBSHSE can check the result 1 pm onwards. HSC result update can also be found at the official website of the Board at mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in. Students can check the HSC result using their roll number and mother's first name. This year the HSC result came two days earlier than it was declared last year. HSC or class 12 examination was held from February 21 to March 20. Last year, the MSBSHSE Board had registered 88.41% pass in annual HSC exam.

14 lakh 15 thousand took Environment Education paper
A total of 1415555 students took the Environment Education paper and the overall pass percentage is 99.998%. 17 students have failed in the paper. The HSC exam was held in 87 papers. 100% pass has been recorded in 16 subjects. 1462909 students, the highest, had appeared for the English paper.

In Malayalam, Japanese, Drawing, Pictorial Composition, Vocal Classical Music, Instrumental Music, Stenography-Marathi, Mechanical Maintenance, General Civil Engineering and Multi Skill (General Engineering, General Electrical, Gardening, Bridge course and Food processing) courses, 100% pass has been recorded.

26.55% repeater candidates have qualified
A total of 68045 repeater candidates had registered for the HSC exam this year among which 67901 took the exam. 179 such candiddates have cleared the exam. In Mumbai division, the highest number of repeater candidates, 5382, have cleared HSC exam.

Highest number of students took the HSC exam in Mumbai division followed by Pune division. Least number of students had appeared for the exam in Latur and Konkan divisions.

Mumbai registers 83.85% pass
This year the pass percentage in Mumbai region has slipped down to 83.85% from 87.44%. Least pass percentage, 82.81%, has been registered in Nagpur district.

Konkan region registers highest pass percent
93.23% students have cleared the HSC exam in Konkan region. In two of the other top performing regions, Pune and Aurangabad, the pass percentages are 87.88% and 87.29%, respectively.

Maharashtra HSC result at 1 pm
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will upload the HSC result on mahresult.nic.in at 1pm. Students should check the result from the official website only. Immediately after the results are released online, the website may crash or slowdown. In such cases students should wait for a while and retry later.

85.88% students clear HSC exam in Maharashtra
Dr. Shakuntala Kale, Chairman Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) declared the result today. 85.88% students have qualified the exam this year. The pass percentage among girls is more than 90%.

Students should save the online copy of HSC result
Students should save a copy of the online mark statement. The print copy of the HSC result can be used for reference only till official document is issued by the Board. Usually the Board issues the certificates immediately after the results are out. Students can collect the same from their respective schools.

Class 10 or SSC results will be released next
After the HSC result, Maharashtra Board will announce the SSC result. The board is yet to confirm SSC result declaration date. In Maharashtra, SSC board examination was held from March 1 to March 22.

HSC supplementary exam details will be announced soon
Students who do not qualify the HSC board exam can appear for the supplementary exam. Application process for the supplementary exam will begin immediately after the HSC result is announced. Usually the school boards announce supplementary exam dates on the same day the results are declared.

Last year, out of the total 14,18,645 candidates registered for the exam, 14,16,986 appeared and 12,52,817 students qualified for higher education. The pass percentage was 88.41%.

"HSC Examination Result March 2019 to be announced on May 28th, 2019 at 13:00 Hrs," reads the official notification on the result portal. Last year the Board had announced the result on May 30.
