Online application submission process for Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) entrance exam will close tomorrow (April 15). Candidates can submit the application fee till April 16. Separate registration links are available for JNU entrance exam and JNU combined entrance exam for Biotechnology programmes. This is the first time, the University will conduct computer based objective pattern test for admission to various academic programs. The entrance exam will be held under the supervision of government firm, National Testing Agency or the NTA. JNU has scheduled the exam on May 27, 28, 29 and 30.
A week after completing the registration process, NTA will allow candidates to correct/ modify their applications. Candidates can cross check the particulars filled by them in the application and edit name, father's name, mother's name, etc. The application correction window will be open for a week from April 22 to April 28.
As per an official communication on March 25, more than 38 thousand candidates had registered in the first 10 days of the application process.
NTA will release admit card for the exam on May 10. "In case candidates are unable to download Admit Cards from the website, the candidate should approach the Help Line between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm from 01 May, 2019 to 17 May, 2019," reads the official notice.
To help students get acquainted with the exam pattern, NTA has set up test practice centres. This facility will be completely free of cost. Candidates can register online where they will be provided a convenient TPC near their location to practice on a given computer node.
