Jadavpur University BA, B.Sc. Admission 2017: Last Date To Apply June 14

New Delhi: Jadavpur University, Kolkata has begun the admission process for undergraduate courses. The university offers BA and B.Sc. programs for under graduate studies. The last date to apply is June 14, 2017. BA degree is offered in nine different specializations, while B.Sc. is offered in five different specializations. There are separate portals for BA and B.Sc. admission and students applying should take care to apply on the right portal. In case of B.Sc. courses, there will be no admission test and admission will strictly be on the basis of marks scored in class 12th board exam. For admission to BA courses, the university has separate admission criteria for separate specializations. 

Important Dates

Last date to apply online: June 14, 2017
Last date to submit application fee online through SBI I-Collect: June 17, 2017
Last date to update fee receipt details on the online portal: June 20, 2017

The entrance for BA courses (wherever applicable) will be conducted between June 27 and June 29, 2017. 

Important Points about Application Process

1.    The application portal and links for BA and B.Sc. programs are different. 
2.    The student would need to create their login credentials first. They can then login to the application portal and complete the application process.
3.    There are three modes to pay application fee - Netbanking, Credit Card, and Debit Card.
4.    Students applying to the university should not forget to collect their respective SB Collect Reference Number which must be updated in their application form.
5.    Students who will be applying under Sports category, OBC category or Physically Disabled category will have to send their respective certificates separately to the university.
