CISCE ICSE, ISC Results 2017 To Be Declared On Monday, May 29

New Delhi: The results of the CISCE ISC (Class 12) and ICSE (Class 10) examinations will be declared on Monday, May 29. The update posted in the official website of CISCE said that both ISC and ICSE results of this year will be declared on May 2017 at 03:00 PM. Last year, the ICSE results were declared on May 6, along with the ISC Class 12 results. The ICSE and ISC results will be released in the official website of CISCE, www.cisce.org. The CISCE board conducted both class 10 and class 12 examination late this year after the election commission of India declared elections to 5 state assemblies.

The ICSE Class X exam, which was earlier scheduled to begin on February 27 and end on March 31, started on March 10 and was concluded on April 21.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) conducts three examinations, namely, the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE - Class 10 examination), The Indian School Certificate (ISC - Class 12 examination) and the Certificate in Vocational Education (CVE - Year 12).

Last year, ICSE Class 10 exams saw 98.50% Pass Percentage, while in ISC the Pass Percentage was 96.46%.

2,015 schools presented candidates in India and abroad for the ICSE Examination in 2016 and 1,68,591 number of candidates appeared for the examination.

ICSE, ISC results: How To Check

The ICSE, ISC results will be made available on the career portal of the council for the schools while the student may able to check their individual results in CISCE website, as well as through SMS.

To receive the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) or Indian School Certificate (ISC) results by SMS, the candidate will need to type ICSE or ISC followed by their seven digit unique ID code and send the message to 09248082883.

 
Earlier the reports emerged that the ICSE 2017 results were supposed to be released by May 15. But the CISCE board later clarified by saying that, "Forty eight hours prior to declaration of ICSE and ISC 2017 Examination Results, a notification regarding the same will be put up on the Council's website www.cisce.org."

ICSE, ISC Results 2017: Marksheets To Go Digital

ICSE and ISC candidates will now be able to have digital versions of their marksheets and certificates for accessing them anytime and anywhere.

"Unlike the old practice when the candidates had to download the scanned image of the hard copy of marksheet, all they have to do now is to open an account with 'http://digilocker.gov.in and give their mobile number and follow the steps thereafter," CISCE Chief Executive and Secretary Gerry Arathoon told PTI recently.

In another development today, putting an end to the uncertainty over results date, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) also released the results dates today. The central board will declare the class 12 examination results on May 28 forenoon.
