DFirst cut off list of DU 2019 has been released on the official website
Colleges in Delhi University (DU) have started releasing the first cut-off lists for undergraduate courses. Colleges which have already released cut-off lists include SRCC, Hansraj College, Kirori Mal College, Jesus and Mary College, Satyawati College, Bhagini Nivedita College, Dyal Singh College, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College and Shivaji College. For admission to B.Com. (Hons) course in Shri Ram College of Commerce or SRCC, general category students would need 98.5% marks which saw an increase of .75% from last year. The DU cut off list of 2019 has, however, remained the same for admission to BA Economics (Hons), 98.75%.

In Kirori Mal College, cut-off for popular courses like BA English (Hons.), BA Economics (Hons.) and B.Com (Hons.) are above 97%. While the numbers for English remained the same as last year's, there is a .5 per cent increase in Economics cut-off in KMC this year.
Cut-off in North-Campus-based Hansraj College has increased marginally, of a .5 per cent, in few programmes including BA Economics (Hons.). Here, general candidates will need 97.25% for BA English (Hons) and 98.5% for BA Economics (Hons). 98.25% is the cut-off for BCom in Hansraj.
In Jesus and Mary College, the students who are planning to get admission for BA Psychology will need to have 98% with 85% and above in Psychology (in Class 12) and 99% without Psychology or securing less than 85% in Psychology.
According to experts, the DU cut-off percentage for most popular courses in almost all the colleges is unlikely to dip. Instead, it might rise between 0.5 and 1 points.
Top ranked colleges like Miranda House, Hindu College, Lady Shri Ram College for Women or LSR College, Gargi College, Ramjas College, Sri Venkateswara College and Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College or ARSD College have not released their cut-off details yet. Cut-off from these colleges will provide an actual picture on the admission trend this year in DU.
A cumulative list -- indicating the minimum marks needed to get admission in various courses -- of all colleges will go live on the university website -- du.ac.in -- post-midnight. Depending on the availability of seats after the first list, the university colleges issue second and, where needed, third cut-off lists.
Bhagini Nivedita is one college which is kind to students who have not scored above 90 per cent marks.The highest cut off in Bhagini Nivedita has been set for B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics at 90% for General category candidates.
Cut off for B.Sc. (Hons.) Home Science is 85%, for B.Com. is 84%, for BA (Hons.) Political Science, it is 79%. Cut off for B.Sc. Physical Science (Chemistry) and B.Sc. Physical Science (Computer Science) is 78%. Cut off for BA (Hons.) History is 75% and for BA (Hons.) Hindi and BA Programme is 72%.
Set up in 1922, Delhi University is the one of the biggest and most respected universities in India. It has 77 affiliated colleges and five other institutions spread across the city as well as 16 faculties and 86 departments.
