CUSAT CAT 2017: Cochin University Releases Application Dates

New Delhi: Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) recently announced the admission schedule for the 2017-18 academic session. The University conducts Common Admission Test (CUSAT-CAT) for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The registration for CUSAT CAT began online on February 08, 2017. The last day for registration is February 28. Candidates who miss out on registration by the last date can still register, albeit with a late fine till March 06, 2017. The examination will be conducted on April 29 and 30. 

The University conducts CUSAT Department Admission Test (DAT) for admission to M.Tech., PhD, M.Phil., and Diploma programs offered by different departments of the university.

CUSAT CAT 2017 Important Dates

CUSAT announced the beginning of online registration for Common Admission Test 2017 on February 08, 2017. Candidates can register till February 28 without fine. The last date to register for the test with late fine is March 06. Candidates can pay application fee till March 08. The registration process for M.Tech. and MBA courses will begin from February 13, 2017.

The admit card for entrance examination will be available for download from April 15 to April 30. The examination will be conducted on April 29 and April 30. 
The application forms for CUSAT DAT will be available between February 08 to March 15.

CUSAT CAT 2017: How to Apply

Candidates can register for CUSAT CAT 2017 through the University's official website. The steps to register online are given below:

Step one: Visit the official website: cusat.nic.in

Step two: Click on "New Candidate Registration" and create a login id.

Step three: Fill in your details correctly.

Step four: Make payment online through Credit card/Debit card/Netbanking.

CUSAT CAT 2017 Important Points
  • Candidates applying to MBA programs must have a valid CMAT/KMAT/CAT score card. 
  • Candidates can also apply to M.Tech. programs on the basis of GATE score.
  • Candidates applying on the basis of GATE or MBA aspirants must email a soft copy of their score card to helpdesk@cusat.nic.in before the last date of registration.
