Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has declared the class 10th and class 12th result on its result portal. More than 6 lakh students took the board exams in Chhattisgarh this year and are awaiting their result. Amidst speculations that the CGBSE board result will be released on May 8 but an official from the board had confirmed back then that the board will release 10th and 12th result either on May 10 or May 11. The CGBSE result, it is expected, will first be announced in a press conference and then released on the board's official website. Nisha Patel Is Chhattisgarh Class 10 TopperIn the Class 10 exam, Nisha Patel of Abhinav VMNS School Pussaur, Raigarh district has topped with 99.33 percent followed by Yogesh Sahu of Mayur Shishu Mandir School Bhatapara with 98 per cent. Tilak Jha of Saraswati Shishu Mandir HS School Basna, Mahasamund and Hema Sahu of Saraswati HS School Rajgamar, Korba shared third position with 97.83 per cent.

Check here 78% Students Clear Class 12 Exam In ChhattisgarhAs many 2,62,492 students had registered for CGBSE Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12th) this year out of which only 2,60,521 students. Among the students who have cleared the exam this year are 1,24,370 boys and 1,36,151 girls. The overall pass percentage is 78.43%. The overall pass percentage has increased by 1.64%.
68% Students Clear Class 10th Board Exam In ChhattisgarhA total of 3,88,120 regular students had registered for CGBSE High School Certificate Examination (10th) this year out of which 3,84,664 students have cleared the exam. The overall pass percentage stands at 68.2%. Last year 61.04% students had cleared the class 10 board exam in the State. Among the students who have cleared the exam are 1,79,705 boys and 2,04,959 girls.

Chhattisgarh Board's Performance Had Improved Last YearIn 2018, the performance of the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education had improved in comparison to the pass percentage recorded in 2017. In 2017, the overall pass percentage was 76.36 in class 12 and it was 61.04 per cent for class 10 result.
Mark Sheet, Pass Certificate Will Be Issued Soon
The Board will issue pass certificate and mark sheet of the results, immediately after the Chhattisgarh board results are out. The online mark statement is for immediate information only. Students should go through the entries carefully. Class 10 students should check their date of birth properly. Class 10 pass certificate is a valid document for date of birth proof.
Result Portal May Slow Down
Website may slow down as more than 6 lakh students will login almost at the same time. Last year the same issue was faced, and as a measure to redress this issue the NIC hosted result portal is used by the Board this year. Prior to that Chhattisgarh board results were announced at cgbse.net.
68.04% Had Cleared Class 10 Exam Last Year
68.04% students had cleared the class 10 board exam in Chhattisgarh last year. Yagyesh Chauhan had topped the class 10 board exam in Chhattisgarh by scoring 98.33%. Mansi Mishra was second topper for class 10 with 98% and Anurag Dubey was the third topper with 97.67%.
77% Had Cleared Class 12 Exam In Chhattisgarh Last Year
Last year, 77% of the total students who took the class 12 board exam qualified. Shiv Kumar Pandey was the class 12th topper last year. He had secured 98.40%. Sandhya Kaushik was the second topper scoring 97.40%. Two students -- Shubham Gandharva and Shubham Kr. Gupta -- were third toppers with 97.20%.

According to reports close to 2.66 lakh students had registered for the 12th board exam in Chhattisgarh.
