- Biggest criticism of the government in the last few months is 'why have you taken decisions so quickly'
- India can't stop functioning even if one house of Parliament takes time to settle down
- Distribution of poverty without growth is not a solution to India's problem
- Government must be led by leader of stature. PM must be decisive, willing to face consequences of his decisions
- Something which had scared investors away was a highly adversarial tax regime
- Things may not change overnight but the present government is determined to have a non-adversarial tax regime
- From 2008 to 2013 we spent five years in coming up with a new company law, completely out of tune with the current requirement of business
- Industrial corridors are essentially going to run through rural areas - helps villages increasing value of land, generating employment for those villages
