Ajay Chadha, Director General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police, says:
- Our priority is Kedarnath access
- In Badrinath people are in better condition, staying in hotels
- NDRF and ITBP teams have been working continuously since June 18
- Satellite phones have been arranged by Ministry of Home Affairs
- Jungle Chatti - a helipad has been set up. It is a critical area
- There is no other way out if the weather conditions don't get better
- Harshil is an Army Cant where all the people are staying
- We are not facing any coordination problems
- We are utilising Air Force choppers only, do not have choppers of our own
