Delhi's BJP hit out at Arvind Kejriwal and accused him of being responsible for the strike as he "did not lower VAT". In a tweet in Hindi, the Delhi BJP said residents of Delhi were going to neighbouring states as Mr Kejriwal had not lowered VAT on petrol and diesel. The Delhi BJP tweet said petrol pump owners faced a loss because of this.
