Tension was palpable across cinema halls in Uttar Pradesh where members of the fringe group Karni Sena protest against Padmaavat at Lucknow's Novelty Cinema. The members of the group appeal to the people to not watch the film. One of the protester says," We will also compensate the money of the tickets in case people have already bought them."
