Current trends in Uttar Pradesh show BJP is leading in 13 out of 16 municipal corporations. These are Moradabad, Ayodhya - Faizabad, Varanasi, Firozabad, Saharanpur, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Aligarh, Allahabad, Bareilly, Kanpur, Mathura.
