Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017: 'They Called Gujaratis Donkeys' Says PM Narendra Modi in Surat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked about "Congress' historical disdain for Gujarat," saying both Sardar Patel and Morarji Desai were humiliated, in a tweet.

He also referred to a comment that was made before the Uttar Pradesh elections, where the Prime Minister said, "the people who once called the Gujaratis donkeys, now have to bow at their feet".
