The counting of votes for the President of India election is underway at the Parliament in New Delhi. The numbers are stacked in favour of the ruling NDA's nominee Ram Nath Kovind, who is contesting opposition's candidate Meira Kumar. The name of the next President of India will be known by 5:00 pm this evening.
