French President Emmanuel Macron And PM Narendra Modi To Hold Bilateral Talks Shortly
The French President will now meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House in New Delhi. The two leaders will discuss ways of taking the India-France partnership forward. This will be followed by delegation-level talks headed by the two leaders shortly after noon. Several agreements are expected to be signed between the two countries. A significant boost to ties are expected in the areas of defence and security, nuclear cooperation and clean energy. Progress on the Rafale deal and the Scorpene submarines are also likely to be discussed.
The two sides will then exchange agreements, followed by a joint press statement by President Macron and Prime Minister Modi.
