Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party leaders will march to Parliament today, demanding urgent and concrete action by the Centre to immediately put an end to sealing of markets in the national capital, a senior party leader said today. AAP's Delhi unit spokesperson Saurabh Bharadwaj said his party kept on saying that the ongoing sealing drive in Delhi was to due to conversion charges and changes are required in the Delhi Master Plan 2021.

Both of these (conversion charges and Delhi Master Plan 2021) are under the purview of the three municipal corporations, being ruled by the BJP, and the Delhi Development Authority, Mr Bharadwaj said. Conversion charge is the amount one pays to convert one category of property to another, for example from residential to commercial. Mr Bharadwaj said AAP leaders would march to Parliament today and try to put pressure on the Centre to bring in an ordinance in this regard.
