Here are the numbers after the first round of counting at 9:30 am for the RK Nagar by-election constituency:
- TTV Dinakaran leads after first round with 5339 votes
- AIADMK Madhusudhanan trails with 2738 votes
- DMK's Marudhu Ganesh stands third with 1181 votes
