Gujarat Election Result 2017 - Overheard In Congress' Ahmedabad Office As Party Makes Late Comeback
NDTV's Saurabh Gupta, who is reporting from Ahmedabad, says he heard some in the Congress office say, "Haar ke jeetne waale ko baazigar kehte hain" (In this context - Only a magician can turn a loss into his/her win). The Congress, which was trailing the BJP by around 35 seats, has managed to get some last minute gains, narrowing the gap to to just 18 at the moment. BJP leading in 99 seats, Congress in 81.
