Gujarat Election Result 2017 - BJP Workers And Supporters Begin Celebrations. Here's How
How can any celebration in Gujarat be complete with Dhokla, Khaakra and Faafda... Guess those laddoos are feeling a little out of place on that table. But jokes aside, the BJP, which now looks more or less destined for a comfortable win for the fifth consecutive time in Gujarat, have already begun celebrating this crucial win. They even have the a go-ahead from Prime Minister Modi who, a short while ago, showed the 'V' for victory sign as an acknowledgement of looking set to win the elections in his home state.
With just over a year left for the 2019 general elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his party know the significance of this crucial win for the BJP. The BJP is currently ahead in 108 seats, down 7 from the last elections in 2012, but still looking to form a majority government. Counting is still on and the Election Commission of India will officially declare the results in the next few hours.
