"1.63% VVPATs replaced after mock polling," says election officer
"Out of total machines (EVMs) deployed for second phase of Gujarat polls, 1.63 per cent VVPATs replaced after mock polls. 0.88 per cent ballot units and 0.86 per cent control units also replaced," Gujarat Chief Electoral Officer BB Swain told news agency ANI. 2.2 crore people are eligible to vote in the second phase of the Gujarat assembly elections 2017, according to the Election Commission.
