BJP is now leading in 14 out of 16 municipal corporations in Uttar Pradesh. These municipal corporations are Moradabad, Ayodhya - Faizabad, Varanasi, Firozabad, Saharanpur, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Agra, Aligarh, Allahabad, Bareilly, Kanpur, Mathura.
