In a tragic incident, two police constables from Pune allegedly committed suicide near Char Bhinti' Hutatma Smarak on Wednesday, police said.
The deceased have been identified as Monika Subhash Raskar (30) and Ravindra Narayan Gaikwad (47).
Raskar was attached to Deccan Police and Gaikawad to Kothrud police station, both in Pune.
Police suspect that the two had an extra-marital affair.
Both Gaikwad and Raskar had their own kids from existing marriages.
Their bodies were spotted by a passer-by on Wednesday morning.
