Nagpur:
A young couple was killed in a road mishap in Hudkeshwar area here prompting an angry mob to set the killer truck on fire, police said today.
Naresh Pisaram Samrith (35) and his wife Kavita along with their six-year-old daughter Hrydei were hit by a truck near traffic outpost in Hudkeshwar main road last night around 11 pm. The couple recieved serious injuries and died instantly, they said.
The girl however escaped as she was thrown when the truck hit the two wheeler. A mob soon gathered and about 10-15 persons set ablaze the killer truck.
Police have registered offences under relevant sections against the driver and also against the unidentified persons in the mob.
