Engineering and construction firm Unity Infraprojects today said its net profit increased 9.6  per cent to Rs 24.66 crore in the quarter ended December 31.

The company had posted Rs 22.50 crore in the year ago period, it said in a statement.

Net sales of the company stood at Rs 493.62 crore, an increase of 10.32 per cent, in the third quarter ended December 31, while the same was Rs 447.41 crore in the same period previous fiscal.

During the third quarter, the company won an order worth Rs 51.09 crore from the National Highway Authority of India,  it bagged one worth Rs 183.88 crore from Adani Township and Real Estate.

Other contracts include Rs 88.20 crore from ECGC of India, Rs 121.80 crore order from Delhi University, Rs 135.28  contract from Rail Vikas Nigam in Jharkhand, Rs 135.77 crore order from Rites in Karnataka, and Rs 83.81 crore for SardarSarovar Narmada Nigam order.
