Apollo Tyres gained 3.2 per cent, JK Tyre and Industries rose 4.6 per cent and Ceat Ltd was up 7.6 per cent on Wednesday.
Traders said operating margins may increase further as prices for key raw material decline.
Natural rubber prices in the local market were near five-year lows. While Brent dropped towards $81 as oil glut worries counter disruption risks. Crude prices have dropped by over 25 per cent since June.
