TTK Prestige Q2 Net Profit Slips to Rs 27.98 Crore

Chennai: Home appliances manufacturer TTK Prestige has registered a 7.6 per cent decline in its July-September quarter net profit at Rs 27.98 crore.

TTK Prestige, part of the TTK Group, had reported a net profit of Rs 30.30 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous year, the company said in a BSE filing.

For the half year ending September 30, 2014, net profit marginally declined to Rs 54.50 crore from Rs 56.09 crore registered during the same period of the previous year.

For the financial year ended March 31, 2014, net profits stood at Rs 111.79 crore.

Total income from operations for the second quarter ended September 30, 2014, grew to Rs 381.95 crore from Rs 345.54 crore registered during same period of previous fiscal.

For the half year ended September 30, 2014, total income rose to Rs 718.34 crore from Rs 651.87 crore registered during the same period last year, it said.

Shares of the company were trading at Rs 3,910 apiece, down by 2.12 per cent over the previous close in the afternoon trade on the BSE.
