Tata Investment Corp Q2 Net Jumps Three-Fold

New Delhi: Tata Investment Corporation on Friday said its net profit jumped over three times to Rs 109.99 crore for the fiscal second quarter that ended on September of 2015.

The company's profit stood at Rs 36.53 crore during the July-September quarter of 2014-15.

Total income for the reviewed quarter also rose by more than two-and-half-times to Rs 128.64 crore, as against Rs 48.86 crore a year ago.

Tata Investment Corporation Limited is a non-banking financial company.

It is primarily involved in investing in long-term investments such as equity shares and equity-related securities.
