Tata Communications Inks Pact With Orange International Carriers

Tata Communications and Orange International Carriers on Wednesday announced an agreement to interconnect their respective IP-exchange communities.

"IPX peering between global players facilitates the widespread international adoption of the platform and associated new services such as HD Voice and Roaming," Orange International executive vice president - international carriers Alexandre Pebereau said.

"We encourage mobile operators to move quickly to make the transition to a multi-service IPX solution," he added.

"By interconnecting our VoIPX network with Orange, we continue to expand our long-term relationship with a strategic partner", Tata Communications president - global voice solutions Michel Guyot said.
