Stocks To Watch: Bajaj Finance, Reliance Industries, Tata Motors, ICICI Prudential

New Delhi: The domestic stock indices are likely to trade cautiously on Wednesday taking cues from the global markets. Asia's share markets struggled as U.S. Treasury yields hit fresh two-year highs and a global technology stock sell-off unsettled investors. Trends on SGX Nifty indicated a muted opening for the markets back home. The Nifty Futures on Singapore Exchange also known as the SGX Nifty Futures fell 28.70 points or 0.16 per cent to 18,085.

The benchmark BSE Sensex had slumped 554 points or 0.90 per cent to close at 60,755 on Tuesday, while the broader NSE Nifty had settled 195 points or 1.07 per cent lower at 18,113.

Here Are Stocks To Watch During Today's Session:

Bajaj Finance: The company's profit for the third quarter of the current financial year (Q3 FY22) increased by 85 per cent to Rs 2,125 crore from Rs 1,146 crore in the same period last year. Bajaj Finance's net interest income increased by 40 per cent to Rs 6,000 crore as against Rs 4,296 crore on a yearly basis.

Reliance Industries: RIL's retail arm has purchased a 54 per cent stake in domestic robotics company Addverb for $132 million (about Rs 983 crore). Founded in 2016, Addverb expects to close the current financial year with 100 per cent growth in revenue at Rs 400 crore compared to Rs 200 crore it posted a year ago.

Tata Motors: The automaker has said it will increase prices of its passenger vehicles by an average of 0.9 per cent with effect from January 19, in order to partially offset the impact of a rise in input costs. At the same time, the company has also taken a reduction of up to Rs 10,000 on specific variants. Last week, Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) raised the prices of its models by up to 4.3 per cent with immediate effect. The company has enhanced prices across its models from 0.1 per cent to 4.3 per cent owing to rinse in various input costs.

ICICI Prudential Life: The company has reported a marginal two per cent year-on-year growth in its net income to Rs 311 crore for the December 2021 quarter, on higher sales of policies.

Nazara Technologies Ltd: The gaming and sports media company has said it will acquire a 55 per cent stake in programmatic advertising and monetisation company Datawrkz for about Rs 124 crore.

Meanwhile, Bajaj Auto, CEAT, JSW Energy, Larsen & Toubro Infotech and Tata Communications will declare their respective quarterly numbers today.
