Automotive: Bharat Forge., the flagship company of the $2.5 billion Kalyani Group, is a leading global 'Full Service Supplier' of forged and machined – engine & chassis components. Capital Goods: Bharat Forge a multinational of emerging India, is on the threshold of breakout growth in capital goods. Capital Goods industry is having significant demand growth but facing a lot of constraints on the supply side.

Bharat Forge a global leader in forging and metals, plans to create business of significant scale in capital goods. BFL will focus on technology and its ability to create a cost competitive and differentiated position to drive significant value across various sectors in capital goods.  Company has aggressive plans to increase share of non–automotive revenues from 18% in 2007–08 to 40% in 2011–12.

The Power business unit would manufacture critical components for Thermal, Wind, Hydro and Nuclear applications. The primary product focus would be on Windmill shafts, turbine rotors and blades, retaining rings and gas engine components.
