SBI ATM Card Rules: Cash Withdrawal Limit, Transaction Charges And Other Details

SBI offers several types of ATM-cum-debit cards for customer's needs.


State Bank of India (SBI) offers several types of ATM-cum-debit cards. These ATM cards include the Classic Debit card, the Global International Debit card, the Gold International Debit card and the Platinum International Debit card. These SBI ATM cards enable customers to make cash withdrawals up to a certain limit. For example, SBI's Global International debit card allows customers to withdraw up to Rs 40,000 per day, and make online transactions up to Rs 75,000 per day, according to the bank's corporate website - sbi.co.in. The bank has also set certain charges for services such as issuance of the ATM-cum-debit cards.

Here are some of the charges set by SBI for services with respect to different ATM/debit cards:

SBI Classic Debit card

Here are the transaction limits applicable to the Classic Debit card, according to the SBI website:

SBI's ATM-cum-debit cards can be used at any of its group ATMs, which include the ATMs of State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Patiala and State Bank of Travancore, according to the bank's website.
