Sintex Industries Posts 47.2 Per Cent Rise in September Quarter Net

New Delhi: Textiles and plastic firm Sintex Industries on Monday reported an increase of 47.27 per cent in consolidated net profit at Rs 107.38 crore for the second quarter that ended on September 30, 2014.

The company had reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 72.91 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.

Consolidated net sales of the company during the July-September quarter were at Rs 1,672.19 crore as compared to Rs 1,359.64 crore in the corresponding period in the previous year, the company said.

Shares in Sintex Industries, on Monday, ended at Rs 86.90 apiece on the BSE, up 19.70 from the previous close.
